Marty Murphy is a native of Bowling Green, KY and attended Bowling Green High School. He is married to Lora Murphy and they live in Morgantown, KY with their three children. A mechanic by trade, Marty transitioned into running his own business, Bluegrass Window Tint, for 10 years before moving into construction. He spent that time mostly at Ft. Campbell building steel buildings for Coleman Construction. His parents are Terrell & Brenda Murphy of Bowling Green and he has a younger brother Yantez. They were raised outdoors, hunting, fishing and golfing. That love has carried over and followed Marty through into his family today.
